Pearl and Turquoise Brooches

Pearl and Turquoise Brooches: Inspired by a bonbonniere by Giovanni Beltrani,
this delicate designed piece echoes the decoration of the box and the surrounds of a cameo
of Prince Eugene de Beauharnais, stepson of Napoleon Bonaparte.
The original is on display in The Gilbert Collection at Somerset House in London, England.
The box can be dated between 1804 and 1819.
