A jewel in the crown for the National Trust for Scotland,
the castle has Robert Adams interiors.
In 1945 the Kennedy family gave Culzean to the National
Trust for Scotland,
asking that part of the castle be given to General Eisenhower,
later President of the United States of America.
It is now possible to stay in those rooms.
