The
Museum of London's "Cheapside Hoard" Jewellery
Collection.
In
1912, workmen discovered a wooden box under the cellar
floor of a house in Cheapside, London. It contained over
230 pieces of Tudor and Stuart jewellery, the largest
hoard of its kind in the world. Some of these important
pieces have now been reproduced by an English jewellery
designer.
